PRIVACY POLICY
what this site collects, and what it does not
The short version
This site is a static portfolio. It has no accounts, no ads, no tracking pixels and no analytics, and it does not sell or share your information. The only information I receive is what you choose to send me through the contact form or the email sign-up.
What I collect
Contact form. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which passes it to my inbox; their servers handle it in transit under their own privacy policy.
Email sign-up. If you join the email list (from the pop-up or the "email list" link in the footer), I receive your email address and the page you signed up from. It is delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms in the same way as the contact form.
Hosting logs. The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. I do not use this to identify you.
Third-party content on the site
Fonts. The page font is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
Video. Some pages show YouTube video thumbnails or embedded players (using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode). The YouTube thumbnail images load from Google's servers, and a video only plays if you start it.
Links out. The site links to Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Too Lost, Bandsintown and other services. Once you click, their own privacy policies apply, not mine.
How I use it
Messages from the contact form are used to reply to you and to keep a record of business conversations (bookings, collaborations, press, production work). Email addresses from the sign-up are used only to send you news about music, releases and shows. I do not add you to a mailing list without asking, and I do not sell or share the list.
How long I keep it
I keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records, then delete them. I keep sign-up email addresses until you ask to be removed. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare according to its own retention practices.
Your choices
You can ask me what I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by writing through the contact form. You can also ask to be taken off the email list the same way, at any time. If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights (such as the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and I will honor valid requests.
Cookies
I do not set cookies of my own. The site does use your browser's local storage for a few small settings that never leave your device, such as whether you closed the sign-up pop-up, the film grain on/off setting and your high score on the 404 game. Cloudflare and the third-party services above may use their own technical or security cookies or similar storage when you load their content.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
I may update this policy as the site changes; the date below shows the latest version. Questions go through the contact form.
